Post-Divorce Tune-up: Empowering Women to Move Forward with Confidence

Brace yourself. This blog may be a bit deeper than what I normally post, but hear me out because I think a lot of us are in this space together.

I got divorced.

Like any divorcee, I began reevaluating my life. I needed to focus on my happiness, my soul, and ultimately, moving on. I started making positive changes, but baby steps take time.

Then COVID came.

But rather than blaming “bad timing,” I took a different approach...

These past months of social distancing have really encouraged me to look inward. I’m spending more time with myself and my children, so naturally, I’m focusing on the new version of “us” even more. It’s made me reflect on my self-worth, self-confidence, and self-improvement. You can see a trend starting; I’m talking about myself and of course, yourSELF too.

Empowering Yourself to Move Forward

When things end, what else is there to do but move forward? To move forward, I had to make a change. I hired a personal trainer, started taking golf lessons, and picked up reading again. I’m educating my mind, stimulating my body, and gaining new skill sets. Raise your hand if you started a new hobby this year 🙋🏼‍♀️. I know I’m not alone! But that’s only one side of the coin.

The woman I saw in the mirror needed to reflect the powerful woman I was building everywhere else. I know it’s a personal decision to invest in our appearance. Whether you want to age gracefully or have some filler/Botox help, all your aesthetic decisions should come from a place of self-love. You respect yourself, so you should look and feel like your best self, whatever that means.

To move forward, I wanted - no, needed - to become my best self. I was starting a new chapter of my (single!) life and I needed to empower myself to move forward with confidence.

Build Confidence with a Post-Divorce Tune-Up

I’m a top Aesthetic Injector in Philadelphia, but what I really do is empower people every day. Quite literally. I inject foreheads with confidence, fill lips with faith, boost brows with conviction, and help my clients feel their best. Yes, the immediate results are external, but the long-term results are deeper than that. Getting a post-divorce tune-up builds confidence.

When a relationship ends, it’s never easy. One thing that can help is the way we look when we arrive on the other side of it all. Just remember, we get aesthetic enhancements for ourselves (self-love, remember?), not them! Anti-aging treatments, injectables, and fillers can improve how you view yourself. Plus, body sculpting is quicker than hitting the gym...

The history behind human attraction is interesting, but investing in your appearance isn’t solely aesthetic. It’s good for the soul and self-esteem, which radiates so much more brilliantly in every aspect of your life.

Dedicate 2020/2021 to Your Needs

My plan is to emerge in 2021 like a beautiful butterfly. 🦋 But first, I need to spend the time in my cocoon and grow those wings! There are less than 100 days left in this CRAZY year, so dedicate the rest of it to becoming your best self.

Pick up a new hobby, take a master class, go for a walk. Splurge on that new lips, soften those wrinkles, learn to surf, get bangs (but only if you have the face for it). Whatever your best self needs, DO IT.

If that plan includes the best lip injections in Philadelphia...

If Your “Best Self” Needs Botox in Pennsylvania...

My name is Jennifer Perry and I’m one of the top Aesthetic Injectors in Philadelphia. I work with clients between select med spas in the city and virtual consultations. Fillers, Botox, Kybella, and PDO threads are just a few of the tune-ups I offer. From hair restoration to body and facial sculpting, my services might just be what’s needed to emerge from your cocoon, 🦋. Whatever you’re going through, I’m here to make you feel your best and empower you to heal with confidence!

-xoxo Jen
